The mayor of Seattle, an American city located in Washington state, declared September 9 as Data Day in recognition of Tableau Software's contribution to developing solutions that help society and businesses answer data-driven questions.
Exactly on this day in 2014, one of the most important events of the year in the data analytics field, set to last all week, began in this city – home to innovative companies and a source of inspiration for many manifestations of US culture. During this period, Tableau and several of its technology partners will present some of the main analytical solutions used worldwide, including technology associated with big data.
